In regards to 'The End of Parchment' I believe that the majority of information, including books, will be converted to electronic media eventually leading to less and less books. The conspiracy theorist in me is concerned that 'the powers that be' will eventually be able to use this to control the dissemination of information. It seems that eventually the poor will not have books as readily available to me. Maybe we should all read Fahrenheit 451 again. I think it is amusing that Amazon chose to name their reader Kindle as in to set fire to or ignite. I guess in the end books will still have a place. I love the feel of a book in my hands.
