Total Depravity Verse List

I knew the list woudl be extensive, but wow! And yet this doctorine is still scorned by the majority of professing Christians, I suppose they hate the idea of having to admit they are really not “good” people. Even more do they hate having to admit they have done nothing but sin before God saved them, I know I did until I realized I was a false convert 4 years ago.

The Total Depravity Verse List came at the perfect time for me. Just last night I was talking to one of my friends about this very subject. I sent him the link and hope that it will help him as he seeks to understand the Word of God!

It’s easy to get caught up in all the bad press about videogames. But, here is a neat charity designed by avid videogame players to share their love of games with sick children (www.childsplaycharity.org). See also this spinoff charity (http://desertbus.org). It’s nice to see some good come from what many abuse.

Hi Tim

As a reformed, evangelical Anglican (in Australia) and an avid reader of your blog, I would be interested to know your thoughts on the state of the Anglican church, worldwide. I’m not sure how many of your readers are Anglicans, but I imagine that a pretty large minority of evangelicals worldwide are. And certainly the majority of Anglicans are evangelical (although they probably don’t have access to the internet and blogs).

Good stuff. Not may within most circles of Christianity would care to confess these verses, yet they most definetely need to be brought to our attention as they are part of an important biblical teaching ment to show us who we are and to show us who God is. Thanks Tim.
