87 Hours of Porn Per Year "The average UK teenager spends 87 hours a year viewing online porn, according to new research conducted by OnePoll in the UK." Realize that the research did not distinguish between girls and boys and you'll probably have do double that 87 hours for the boys. Allow for the fact that many of them undoubtedly lied and you could put it higher still.

The Mary movie is being made by a Roman Catholic group so I'd expect a lot worse non-Biblical stuff that we saw in the Passion of the Christ.

I read the Charles Platt article. Every time I glance away from his photo I could swear he sticks out his tongue or makes a face. Spooky.

Also figure that those doing the porn survey got no answers from most Christians, anyway. I'd never let my kids answer such a pervy survey.

Interesting article on Walmart. Had a few logic holes in it, but interesting nonetheless.

sadly, judging from the state of affairs within the church, i wonder if the statistics among christians on viewing porn would prove all that different?

is the survey pervy? or is it being given because there is a serious issue with the availability of porn and the drastic addictions to porn that we're seeing all over the place? i do wonder, how were they asked? were they asked for a simply breakdown or were they given suggested activities they could be performing on the Internet and asked for a time break down?

one of our speakers, Jay Wegter, gave a fantastic talk last week called, "The Gnostic Disconnect and Evangelical Immorality". porn is a huge problem within this generation and so are a whole lot of other sexual sins that have been largely normalized and celebrated within the culture. i'm sort of glad to see this survey though sad about the results. i hope people begin to really startle to the statistics and go on the offensive about them.
