Church: Here is a church for men only. I guess the seeker friendly low effort church as you want it trend isn’t dead yet.
Audio: This site has audio recordings corresponding to some of the chapters in Iain Murray’s “A Scottish Christian Heritage.”
Sports: This commercial for the Blue Jays has been banned for being too violent. A watchdog group has attempted to get this one banned as well because Vernon Wells does not look both ways before crossing the road.
RIP: Johnny Hunt, creator of the comic BC, died last week. Check out his Easter comic.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband to Aileen and a father to three young children. I worship and serve as a pastor at

Tim,
His name is actually Johnny HART. Johnny Hunt is the synergistic SBC megacurch pastor.
Ok, I can understand their concerns with the Frank Thomas commercial, but the Vernon Wells one! Come on!
OK, I’m gonna try to close the bold print. :-)
re: Sports — Nothing relevant could be said about how ludicrous this is. So I’ll just point out the Lyle Overbay commercial instead. I think it’s the best of that series — self-deprecation rocks. ;-)
Re: the Luther movie…
it was so like totally AWESOME! i’ve seen it 3 times now - once in the theatre, once for history class (i go 2 a Christian highschool), and once for a church history class (same school). i must admit, i had the same concerns as you when i 1st went 2 see it. - you wonder if Hollywood is going to make Luther look like a ludicrous, stupid creep or something, you know? but it was actually a great movie, and i think that if you are interested in learning more about our Christian heritage, that’s a good place to begin learning about the Protestant Reformation and all that it means to us. can u imagine preying on the people like that and selling indulgences really to raise the money to build St. Peter’s? i mean, really! i agree with Luther - i haven’t found THAT anywhere in my Bible. did the RCC (Roman Catholic Church) have a different Bible from mine?!?!thank you for your article about the movie. it was very helpful and a refreshingly honest, free of bad language blog with a real person’s perspective of life with God in and through it. thank you!
nice blog. maybe you could write something saying how to create your own blog? i would like that. thank you so much.
