Visual Evidence

For the first time ever, I am posting a picture of myself to this site. It’s a bit of a scary proposition, really. Not only am I terribly unphotogenic, but I’m also more than just a little bit camera shy. But I figured if I have to post a picture of myself, it may as well be one taken when I look like a million bucks - or 200 bucks anyways. After all, that’s about what this Tommy Hilfiger tux set me back for the day. I told my wife that this is it - there is no possibility that I can look better than this, because if the clothes do make the man, I’m unlikely to ever wear anything nicer than a Hilfiger tuxedo.

But first a picture of the happy couple who are currently enjoying the sights and sounds of Venice:

And now…moi. Persons in this photograph may be slightly more advanced in years than they appear. I believe in this picture I was pondering great theological matters. Either that or fretting about how I was going to pay for the tux. Regardless, this photo provides irrefutible evidence that there is actually someone behind this site and it is not merely generated by a particularly poorly programmed computer.

That is likely to be the only picture you’ll ever see of me here. Though perhaps if I ever have the chance to meet Mel Gibson or Rick Warren I’ll have a picture snapped of me just hanging out with them…
