"The Discipline of Spiritual Discernment is a truly important work-one that should be required reading not only for church leaders, but for all sober-minded laypeople as well."

John MacArthur (From the Foreword)

"If you were more discerning you’d probably buy this book. If you do read this book, you will be! This book on discernment is simple, clear, well-written and well-illustrated...

What a blessing it is to get free books! More important than the fact they are free is that they are such good books. I’m looking forward to reading them. As far as the rat race to be first at the conference, it is funny how we abhor the lemming-like aspects of our culture yet there are more lemmings among us than we’d like to think. :)

Thank you so much for updating your blog throughout the day during T4G. I’ve totally enjoyed keeping up with how the conference is going and can’t wait to download all the sessions at the end of the conference. Even though I’m a girl and don’t ever plan on preaching I still love listening to all the excellent messages that these men preach at conferences like T4G and I can’t wait to hear most of these men at New Attitude!

I thought the running aspect of the conference was a little humorous myself. However, if those sames pastors run to the pulpit like that on Sunday morning, then I owe them a pair of running shoes…

:)

Thank you for your prompt and comprehensive updates during the conference. No doubt that this conference has been challenging and blessing for many of us. Great resources, especially books, mind- and heart-awakening teachings, and Christ-centered music and worship…It is now I come to more understanding of why Peter would inquire to the Lord of building three tabernacles (tents) up on the mountain just to stay there on the Mount of Transfiguration. Let’s go down together from the mountain to our everyday life for the Gospel of Christ.

I ended up with 25 free books, counting the books I got at Band of Bloggers, all rock solid stuff. I was especially pleased to get Pierced for Our Transgressions. I was going to buy it anyway but they didn’t have it on the book tables.
