I have written a lot of articles through the past 6+ years of blogging. Within all of the “every day” have been a few that I consider favorites—articles that, for one reason or another, stick with me even months or years later. I’ve often thought about collecting some of those together and allowing this to serve as a kind of introduction to the site. I finally had opportunity to do just that.
And so I thought I’d offer this, Snapshots & Screenshots as a means of introducing myself and introducing what I write. It is a collection of twelve of my favorite articles; twelve of the ones I remember as I think back over the past few years. Those of you who have been reading the site for a long time may well remember some or all of those; I trust the newcomers will find something to enjoy as well.
The file is in PDF format so you’ll need the free Adobe Acrobat or another PDF reader to access it. You probably already have such a program on your computer. Feel free to pass the file around or print it if you feel so inclined.

As a recent reader of your blog and participant in the Scripture Memorization (still an utter failure, but not giving up), I was eager to download and read Snapshots and Screenshots. Just read the first two and all I can say is “Wow”. You are a gifted writer and a blessing from our Lord above to us all. I quickly switched over to order your book, which I eagerly await. Thanks, Tim, for this collection. It has a really good graphic design. And I’ve read the last story first (was skimming, but stuck there). I’ve been to your blog for a several months, so I never saw that story before. Thanks for sharing it. “Morning Will Come” - a good message for Easter time and for all seasons of the year.

Thanks for sharing Tim…I could not help laugh at the bloody pages in Uncle Ron’s book…I still just love Working Man Hands and and I do not recall ever reading the one about Father’s Day.

I’m not sure. I’ve never read his site but maybe it’s part of a wider art direction. To be honest, I searched high and low for design inspiration and didn’t find anything that fit. So I just went my own direction. I wanted to copy someone but couldn’t find anything that worked! :)
