It’s going to be a long day. This afternoon we set off for Atlanta where we will be celebrating my sister’s wedding on Saturday. The drive is a long one and we hope to drive all night and arrive just around breakfast time. It’s a gruelling drive, but is better than doing the all day option and dealing with restless kids. At least this way they sleep most of the way! Next week promises to be both fun and chaotic with houses filled with people, many of whom are friends and relatives that we only see at weddings and funerals, so it should be a good time.
I have burned a bunch of Phil Johnson’s sermons to disc to listen to on the way down there. I have heard a few of his in the past and have quite enjoyed them. Does anyone else have some suggestions of things we might like to listen to on the way there or back? It will need to be something (preferably free) that can be downloaded and burnt to CD.

The server the site is currently on has been experiencing some problems and the forums especially seem to run slowly at times. And of course the cookies do not seem to work very well as I find I need to log in everyday where it is supposed to hold on to my information for weeks at a time. So sometime in the next few weeks I’ll have to get cracking!
I still haven’t started the speech I have to deliver in honor of my sister. The clock is ticking. I continue to wait for some sort of inspired thought to strike me.
Think you know a lot about church history? Or do you know more about cheese? You can take this humorous quiz over at Naked Church and see how you score at “Theologians or Cheese?” If you must know, I did reasonably well on the quiz, though I didn’t achieve a perfect grade.
I suddenly and inexplicably have a craving for some Gouda…
