Discerning the Call to Ministry
Dr. Mohler offers some useful advice to discerning whether a person has been called to the ministry.
Fetal Twins Save Mom's Life
This is almost too amazing to be true. "Twins save mom's life by kicking tumor loose from cervix."
Fetal Pain
Matthias Media points to an interesting but disturbing article in the New York Times.

Re the Mohler article - what i find interesting here is that it is taken as normal - taught as fact. Is it so clear cut though? Is this what scripture teaches?
So far as I am aware, within scripture a “call” or “calling” applies to our conversion, and not a subsequent event in which a person is required to change their job. Is this right?
I think I have a gift for teaching (others do too) and I’m heading in the ministry direction, but I have never “recieved the call” in the way Mohler describes. As it stands, my understanding from scirpture doesn’t impress upon me the need for a calling like this, but should someone be able to show me a verse where it is clear that I ought to have recieved a call, then I’ll have to rethink my future!!
Thanks,
Rich
