As someone with a strong Mormon background in my family, I can assure you that they wouldn't be able to call themselves the "Fundamentalist LDS" if the fundamentals for their belief and practice weren't there in the first place! Polygamy *IS* a Mormon fundamental belief, they've just suspended it. Meanwhile, in mainstream Salt Lake City and other Mormon-controlled areas, local Mormons turn a blind eye to polygamous arrangement in the mainstream Mormon church laity.
