How Technology Relates to Permanence
Owen has some good thoughts on technology and our obsession with it. "More significantly, the technological drive seems to push us away from appreciation of what is permanent. Because our current interest is constantly shifting and transferring itself to whatever is new, and hot, and sleek, and better, we gradually lose our appreciation for permanent things."
Hachette to Co-Pub "The Shack"
"The Shack" is set to go even bigger after "the FaithWords division of Hachette Book Group has entered into a co-publishing partnership with Windblown Media for the runaway bestseller The Shack by William P. Young." Hachette will now handle sales, marketing, distribution and so on. The book has now sold over a million copies.
