"The Discipline of Spiritual Discernment is a truly important work-one that should be required reading not only for church leaders, but for all sober-minded laypeople as well."

John MacArthur (From the Foreword)

"If you were more discerning you’d probably buy this book. If you do read this book, you will be! This book on discernment is simple, clear, well-written and well-illustrated...

His Image, Our Value
Writing about people with disabilities, Paul refutes the lie that worth is determined by contribution. "The Truth, according to God, is that people are valuable for the simple fact that they are made in His image. Value is all in relation to Him, not my supposed contribution."
GTY's Free Weekly Expositional Bible Study
From Lucid Theology: "Today Grace to You launched a new page on their site where they plan on providing, free of charge, an expositional study of a book of the Bible."

An example: "Harriet Klausner, No. 1 since the inception of the ranking system in 2000, has averaged 45 book reviews per week over the last five years--a pace that seems hard to credit, even from a professed speed-reader."
Five Things To Do With Old Electronics
Here are five things you can do with those old electronics you've got kicking around your basement. Did you know that the average CRT contains over 2 pounds of toxic lead? There is a good reason to dispose of them properly!

I found "Five Things To Do With Old Electronics" severely lacking, for they didn't have what I do with my old electronics.

I take 'em out and shoot 'em.

Prior to their disuse, our relationship has probably become one characterized by animosity. It's crashed on me for the last time.

Just a sixth to add to the list, I guess. Shoot 'em up and then throw them in the campfire.

Two days ago, you pointed to Mark Altrogge's article encouraging us to "learn big words". Today you use "Demimonde" in a title.

File this under "Practicing What You Preach" ;-)
