A Wedding Story
Ali shares a great little wedding story from the other side of the world. "Bright and early on Saturday morning, we got our whole group down to the dock to find that, in typical West African fashion, the drivers we had chartered were ready to go, but refused to leave until we paid them an extra ten thousand cefa (about twenty US dollars). It was seven fifteen in the morning, the wedding was scheduled to begin at two thirty, and we were off to a promising start."

A More Powerful Fed: Just what America needs…..
I read this as a sarcastic remark (or rather hoped!). In my opinion, which is a decidedly Libertarian one, the Fed should be abolished and it’s power returned to where it Constitutionally belongs, Congress. I will now step down off of my soapbox before someone pushes me off :)

And as of last week, I am one more. The last 4 people terminated in my department were all men, leaving mostly women. Note: They also got rid of the highest paid employees.

I can always tell when you’ve posted a link to my blog - there’s that sudden spike in traffic from your site, and I surf on over here to see what’s going on.
