Randy’s generosity is legendary, a real inspiration. I have enjoyed many of his books as gifts because his wife Nanci is my cousin. When your get suffering (If God Is Good), eternity (Heaven) and money (The Treasure Principle) right , you have a real voice. No wonder he has sold so many books.
Very moving! He took a stand for Christ and it is still costing him. There arent many in the US that would even think of that as an option.
As a missionary who has recently returned to the US for a short furlough, I can relate to much of what was said, even though we live in an area that is more developed than Uganda. Many little things have changed and sly of these add up to create a noticeable reverse culture shock.
One of the first things that stood out to me is how big things are in the US in comparison to where we live and minister.
Alcorn’s story is so good. Man, he gets it! yeah for half off edwards collection!
I had never heard Alcorn’s story before. What a blessing! Thanks for linking to this.
