Giveaways / Free Stuff Fridays Collection cover image

Free Stuff Fridays
This week’s Free Stuff Fridays is a little bit different from most in that there is not a single sponsor. Rather, this is a “grab bag” giveaway with items donated from several different sponsors. But what’s normal is that there are great prizes to win and there will be 5 winners. Each of the winners will receive:

  • Boys PassageThrough the Eyes of C.H. Spurgeon (courtesy of Stephen McCaskell). This is a great collection of quotes from Spurgeon. I wrote this blurb for it: “Read this book to generate thought and reflection. Read it to find the perfect quote for your book or sermon or blog post. Read it and I am certain you will be blessed.”
  • Boy’s Passage, Man’s Journey is a 5-part DVD set featuring Kirk Cameron and Brian Molitor. It includes the DVD and everything else you need. “In five engaging video conversations with father and actor, Kirk Cameron, Brian Molitor teaches how to create and implement a family plan, and more importantly, how to consistently live it and maintain it.”
  • Will You Be My Facebook Friend? by Tim Chester (courtesy of 10 of Those). “In just a few years, Facebook has gone from nothing to a major feature of modern life. There are over 500 million users, half of whom use it on any given day. There is much that is good about this…social networking brings many benefits…but what about the dangers? Image, identity, idolatry and self–promotion are just some of the challenges that social networking can present. Dr Tim Chester looks at these issues pastorally and biblically, in his usual clear and candid manner. He asks pertinent questions to help us tackle them head on.”
  • Cold Case Christianity by J. Warner Wallace comes courtesy of David C. Cook Publishing. You can read my review of this excellent new book right here.

Giveaway Rules: As soon as the winners have been chosen, all names and addresses will be immediately and permanently erased. Winners will be notified by email. The giveaway closes Saturday at noon.

    It’s Okay To Be a Two-Talent Christian

It is for good reason that we have both the concept and the word average. To be average is to be typical, to be—when measured against points of comparison—rather unremarkable. It’s a truism that most of us are, in most ways, average. The average one of us is of average ability, has average looks, will…

    The Night Is Far Gone

There are few things in life more shameful than sleeping when you ought to be working, or slacking off when you ought to be diligent. When your calling is to be active, it is inappropriate and even sinful to remain passive. This is especially true when it comes to contexts that are of the highest…
