A Prince’s Perilous Quest

One hundred years have passed since the Keeper of Peace vanished. In hopes of restoring the missing governor to his rightful place atop the Keeper’s Plateau, the king of Summer forms a secret search party led by his son, Prince Mel.

As the group faces many dangers, Eva, the princess of Winter, shares a secret with Mel about a mysterious, masked prisoner known as “Inmate Thirty-Six.” Could this be the man the king sent them to find? And if so, how can the prince’s party rescue this curious convict and escape under the evil eye of Eva’s father, the king of Winter?

Blades of Eternity and the Keeper of Peace is the first book in the Blades of Eternity series. Readers will encounter page-turning adventure as they explore the values of friendship, loyalty, and courage.

About the Author

Zach Fox lives in Iowa with his wife and five wonderful children. He serves as youth pastor at the Gospel Lighthouse Church, in Floyd Iowa, and as service director at a local car dealership.

In 2012, Zach attempted to draft a novel but found he lacked the necessary skills. Through corresponding with Jerry B. Jenkins, author of the famous Left Behind series, Zach discovered a path toward growth as a writer. After completing numerous courses and writing competitions, he took Ted Dekker’s fiction writing course, after which he finally felt prepared to tackle a book.

His greatest encouragement to keep writing has come from the enthusiastic reception his book, Blades of Eternity and the Keeper of Peace, has received from young readers. Zach says, “It’s fun when young readers want to read your work. You’re not begging them to read—they’re asking about the next chapter and what’s going to happen to this character? Is so-and-so really dead? One boy read it twice in two weeks. That is why I keep writing.”

As a writer, Zach aims to inspire the next generation of Christians with imaginative, high-quality stories that represent biblical values. He sees a need for wholesome role models in entertainment and literature and strives to craft stories that are as clean as they are entertaining.

So Many Dumb Ways To Die

Do you remember the catchy little earworm “Dumb Ways To Die?” In what was undoubtedly one of history’s most successful public awareness campaigns, Metro Trains of Melbourne, Australia, reached millions of people around the world with their message of railroad safety. They did this through an irresistibly snappy song.
