Alistair Begg: “In conjunction with [The Basicss] conference, we will be announcing the latest venture from Truth For Life. On May 11, 2009, we are making our archives of downloadable MP3 messages available for free. Let me encourage you to take immediate advantage of this and also to make it as widely known as you possibly can. This plan is in keeping not only with our stated purpose, but also with the expressed desire of the apostles to make every effort to proclaim the Gospel.”
Who is Coming to America?
This infographic is a look at the 20 countries from which the most people came to America in 2008, how many immigrants already had family there, and how many received asylum when they arrived on its shores.
Complacent Repentance
From Burk Parsons: “The church at the beginning of the twenty-first century is not eager to repent because we are not eager for the return of Christ. What is more, the church is not eager for the return of Christ because we are not eager to repent.”

I wonder how the graphic on immigration compares with the following video I came across on youtube…

I’m interested to know other peoples’ thoughts.
I’d like to see a chart of # of immigrants per capita based on the population of the originating country. It’s not surprising that there relatively few people coming from, say, New Zealand, because there are relatively few people in New Zealand to begin with.
If I get inspired (bored) I may cook it up myself.
Wait, what? 188 refugees from Canada?
Tim, is the link for Burk Parsons correct?
Sorry! Didnt scroll down far enough!
