May DVD Giveaway

We are a week into May and the calendar tells me that it is once more time to have another giveaway. Instead of giving away the usual pair of books or a book with a DVD I thought I would break with tradition this month and giveaway two DVDs.

First, I’d like to thank Monergism Books for once again sponsoring this giveaway. Please be sure to visit this store and check out his wide range of reading material. By visiting his site you are supporting these giveaways!

As always, two equal prizes will be awarded in May. Each winner will receive The History & Theology of Calvinism DVD set as well as the movie Luther on DVD. I realize that I gave away The History & Theology of Calvinism only a couple of months ago, but since it was such a hot item I thought we would try it once more.

The giveaway begins when you receive this email and will continue until 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time on May 19. As always, you can increase your chances of winning by accumulating referrals. See the entry form for more details and the smallish print.

    The Path to Contentment

I wonder if you have ever considered that the solution to discontentment almost always seems to be more. If I only had more money I would be content. Part of the joy of reading biography is having the opportunity to learn about a person who lived before us. An exceptional biography makes us feel as if we have actually come to know its subject, so that we rejoice in that person’s triumphs, grieve over his failures, and weep at his death.
