A Year-End Roundup of Roundups

Lists

‘Tis the time of year to consider the year that was. For bloggers, this usually involves a roundup of the most popular articles and favorite books. To that end, here is a roundup of my various roundups!

Top 5 Articles

People read millions of articles on this site through 2025. Here are the five most popular:

    Favorite Books

I provided a list of My Top Ten Books from 2025 (+ a Bonus), with the bonus being the Getty’s excellent new hymnal. I also offered 10 General Market Books I Enjoyed in 2025.

Additionally, I created a roundup of the best books as judged by many of the blogs and periodicals I read. That is The Collected Best Books of 2025. I have since added several new writers to the list.

People bought a lot of Kindle books through my Kindle Deals page. Counting down the top five we’ve got:

    New Commentaries

I keep a close eye on commentaries and provided a list of Noteworthy New Commentaries from 2025.

    Music

I didn’t create a music roundup this year, but did link to Tim Brigg’s Best Christian Folk & Worship of 2025 Music Review.

Here’s hoping for lots more articles and lots more resources in 2026!
