Lobby Blogging @ T4G

I’m down here at T4G and, for the first time ever, have shot a bit of video. After eight years of blogging, this is the first time I’ve ever used a video camera and opened iMovie. I spent a few minutes shooting in and around T4G this morning. And here are the results. It’s rough, but it’s real…

Note: I meant Band of Bloggers, not Band of Brothers. My bad.

Well done, Tim. Great video. Doesn’t make being in Grand Rapids feel any better though.

The next best thing to being there, sadly I don’t get the books this way…. maybe 2012 Lord Willing….

And yes it is geeky. but at least it can be easily read.

Thank you! Now I can see what my husband is doing, too! He’ll tell me all about it, but pictures are worth 1000 words. And video? At least a million. :)

Great job, Tim. Hubby called me this morning for my “book order”….now I can see why he was overwhelmed!!

Thanks so much for doing this.

Very nice job. I have friends from church out there and wish I could have gone. It’s nice to be able to live vicariously through those of you blogging and videoing the conf.

Finally, a worthwhile Christian bookshop. No trinkets, no Osteen. Even Calvin & Hobbes! Wish I was there.

(3:50) Give the Apostolic Fathers a chance, Tim. That’s a great “must read” by Dr. Duncan.

(4:26) I can see the headlines now “RIOT SQUAD CALLED IN TO SUBDUE CALVINIST MOB

(4:41) They’ll need a Basketball arena next in 2012!

Thanks for this, Tim.

Blessings

Thanks for the tour. But I just has to say, making your own label — cracks me up.

Now we know what it was like when television arrived and suddenly everyone knew what all those stars of radio actually looked like.

(Speaking of media, great answers and discussion, Tim on Saturday’s Drew Marshall radio show.)

can’t believe you’re so against the apostolic fathers in Greek! We’re reading through Didache at the moment in freshman year at Seminary, there’s some good stuff in there! Thanks for the video. Wish I could be there

Thanks for the tour Tim, especially those recommendations from the “Fab Four”.

I’m kinda glad I’m here in Oregon, because my monthly budget would’ve just blown to smithereens this week with all those books and my wife would’ve blown a gasket. :-)

The problem with the book video is it makes me covet books :)

Glad I’m not there since I, like Erik above, would completely go overboard in the book room…

You guys would only blow your monthly budget, my six month book budget would be shot as I would be gathering up every thing that appeals to me… of course if I do go to T4G 2012 I am saving aside a speical fund for that…..
