This week’s Free Stuff Friday is sponsored by Ligonier Ministries, who also sponsored the blog this week.
These days, Martin Luther is known as the man who stood against popes and emperors in defense of the gospel. What drove this lone German monk to defy the Roman Catholic Church?
Today, Ligonier Ministries is offering R.C. Sproul’s Luther and the Reformation as a free download for Challies readers. In this ebook, Dr. Sproul surveys several crisis moments in the life of Martin Luther, showing how they ultimately led to his rediscovery of the gospel revealed in Scripture.
With this download, you’ll also enter to win one of ten hardcover copies of Ligonier’s 500th-anniversary edition of The Bondage of the Will, Luther’s classic book defending humanity’s absolute need for God’s sovereign grace in salvation.
