Who Will Your High School Student Be On The Other Side of College?

This week the blog is sponsored by Boyce College and they are inviting you to join them for their Virtual Preview Day on March 26th.

Who will your high school student be on the other side of college? That is a question every thoughtful parent ponders as they consider post-secondary educational options. You will learn more about answering that question by participating in Boyce College Virtual Preview Day on Friday, March 26 starting at 4pm (ET).

Your student is going to spend hundreds of hours and you are going to invest thousands of dollars achieving life and educational goals. Your return-on-investment is much more than a calculation of how much money your student will need to earn upon graduation to offset a considerable outlay of time, treasure, and talent. An even more crucial consideration is what kind of worldview will your student have once the diploma is in hand and they cross the stage to meet the world head-on?

Boyce College, the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, is designed with the end in mind.

Boyce offers Christ-centered degrees that work in the real world. Our faculty designs each course–across all academic disciplines–upon biblical truth. Combined with gospel-centered student life experiences, our Bible-based curriculum produces graduates prepared to serve God through impactful ministry and marketplace careers. They are trained to reflect Christ in their work, honor Christ in their home, and glorify Christ through their local church.

You are invited to the Boyce College Virtual Preview Day on Friday, March 26th. The preview begins at 4pm (ET) with a live Ask Anything with Dr. Albert Mohler, President of Boyce College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Throughout the rest of the preview, prospective students and their parents will explore campus through a virtual tour, speak with Boyce faculty members about specific degree programs, and get a feel for what it means to experience Boyce student life centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Does God Care How You Cook Your Goat?

It is one of those biblical commands that has always perplexed me. If it appeared just one time in Scripture I might be tempted to pass it by. But it appears no less than three times, in Exodus 23:19, Exodus 34:26, and Deuteronomy 14:21. The repetition tells me that God is quite concerned that his…
