    Call to Worship

“Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!” (Psalm 66:1–2)

This call to worship the Living God comes from Psalm 66. This Psalm not only calls on us to worship God with glorious praise, but also with non-hypocritical hearts.

“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.” (Psalm 66:16–19)

    Confession of Sin

Please take a moment to prepare yourself to worship God. If you have been cherishing sins in your heart, take this time to humble yourself and seek His forgiveness. If you have been walking in prayerlessness this past week, again, bring yourself low before God, seek His forgiveness and mercy.

    Complementary Reading

Listen as I read this incredible testimony of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, from the Word of God

“Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.” (1 Corinthians 15:1–8)

This reading was from 1 Corinthians 15.

    Statement of Faith #5

For no reason, other than to glorify His own Self,
God in His eternal purpose chose to reconcile
a multitude of people to Himself
through the Person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
For this multitude Jesus Christ took on the form of a man
and became their perfect Substitute on the cross,
satisfying divine justice on their behalf.
His sacrifice purchased all things necessary to ensure their eternal salvation.
