The Nick Challies Memorial Scholarship

Nick Challies Memorial Scholarship

In the aftermath of my son Nick’s sudden death, a number of friends asked if there was a way they could honor his memory with a gift. That led to the founding of the Nick Challies Memorial Scholarship at the schools where Nick was a student—Boyce College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The Nick Challies Memorial Scholarship will provide tuition assistance to a selected student from Canada whose ministry aspirations are the same as those Nick possessed—to return to Canada and serve as pastor of a local church. Should there not be a qualified student from Canada, students from other nations (including the United States) are eligible for consideration.

Our family would be honored if you would consider making a gift in Nick’s name (which will be receipted by the seminary). You can be confident that all of the proceeds will be used to further the training of future ministers, prioritizing those who feel the Lord calling them to Canada or back to Canada—the very ministry Nick was committed to.

You can learn about the Nick Challies Memorial Scholarship right here. (To give, visit the Donate page, tick “This gift is in memory of someone” and add Nick Challies as the Honoree.
