A Day in the Mountains of Switzerland

Mount Titlis

Because the weather on Tuesday was wet and gross, we spent most of it combing through museums in Basel and Zurich. We ended up visiting two day’s worth of museums in one, which left today wide open. We decided to make the most of it by heading for the mountains. We left our Airbnb outside Zurich and headed for Luzern and Engelberg. I thought I’d share a few photos I snapped along the way. Tomorrow we visit Konstanz, Germany to learn about Jan Hus and to try to track down some objects related to his life and death. Then we head home!

(My thanks goes to Logos for helping sponsor the trip. Did you know they sell The Works of Zwingli? You can get them for a great price.)

Why You Can Confidently Pray for the Most Hardened Sinner You Know

One of the most important responsibilities of every Christian is the responsibility of praying for the salvation of the lost. It is an important responsibility, but also a difficult one, and especially so when we have labored in prayer for years or decades without seeing that person come to faith.
